Booking terms

Booking

You can book a game slot in advance or buy on site during opening hours. We recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends and for groups. Games start every half hour and one game lasts22 minutes.

Arrival

Please arrive in good time before your slot so you can watch the briefing video and put on the vests. To keep the schedule on track for the groups after you, we reserve the right to shorten a game that starts late.

Payment

All prices include VAT: 13.5% on tickets and catering, 25.5% on other services and alcoholic drinks. Bookings are made and paid for in our booking system (Sessiq). Online payments are processed by the payment providers Paytrail and Stripe.

Organisations with a Finnish business ID (Y-tunnus) can pay by invoice. Choose “Pay on Arrival” as the payment method and we’ll invoice you afterwards. There is a €10 invoicing surcharge (incl. VAT) and a 14-day payment term.

Booking fee

Some bookings, such as birthday parties, may include a booking fee. It is shown before you pay, paid when you book and deducted from the final price.

The booking fee is not refunded if the booking is cancelled or moved less than 7 days before the booked time. The fee is part of any cancellation charge below, never charged on top of it: the cancellation charge is at least the booking fee and includes it.

Cancellation terms

The cancellation charge depends on the booking type and on how close to the booked time you cancel. It is calculated from the total price of the booking.

Single tickets

  • At least 24 hours before: free
  • Less than 24 hours before: 100 %

Group bookings and birthday parties

  • At least 7 days before: free
  • Less than 7 days before: 50 %
  • Less than 3 days before: 100 %

Private parties and private events outside opening hours

  • At least 14 days before: free
  • Less than 14 days before: 50 %
  • Less than 7 days before: 100 %

These run outside opening hours, and staff shifts are booked in advance, so the terms are stricter. Private bookings during opening hours follow the group-booking terms.

Changes to a booking

Small changes, such as the number of guests or the catering, can be made up to 3 days before the booked time, subject to availability.

In group bookings the headcount can still drop by up to 10% after that at no cost. We invoice for the number of people who actually take part, but at least 90% of the last confirmed headcount.

How to cancel or change a booking

Use the link in your booking confirmation email, or contact the venue. If you don’t cancel in time and don’t arrive, the booking is not refunded.

Sports and wellbeing benefits

We accept ePassi and Edenred sports and culture benefits. Bookings paid with a benefit are not refunded in cash.

Right of withdrawal

Tickets and bookings made online have no 14-day right of withdrawal under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, because they are leisure services for a specific date and time (chapter 6, section 16). The cancellation terms above apply instead.

Gift cards

A gift card is valid for 12 months from purchase and works at every Active Entertainment venue. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

Participation and safety

Participation is at your own risk. Follow the staff’s instructions and the venue’s safety rules.

  • Minors are the responsibility of the guardian or the adult in charge of the group who comes with them, such as a teacher or the party host.
  • Tell the staff straight away if you get hurt, feel unwell or notice broken equipment.
  • The staff may stop a participant or refuse entry if instructions are not followed, if someone’s behaviour puts safety at risk, or if a participant is intoxicated.
  • Participants are liable for damage they cause to equipment or premises intentionally or through negligence.

Arena rules

  • The game rules are explained in a short video before you play.
  • Don’t run recklessly, climb on the structures or push other players.
  • Handle the vest and the phaser with care.
  • The recommended age is 7. Younger children play with an accompanying adult.
